Gallery Attendant

Gallery Attendants interact with the public on behalf of The HUB, provide information about regulations, facilities, and exhibits to visitors. The volunteer may be responsible for opening and closing the gallery at designated hours, setting security system, and greeting visitors. They will also assist visitors who would like to make purchases at The HUB. The volunteer will sell items from the store, gallery, and gift certificates. They will monitor visitors viewing exhibits and caution anyone not complying with gallery regulations. They distribute promotional materials, and answer questions about exhibits, regulations, and facilities.

The HUB is an active art center. A cleaning volunteer’s responsibilities would include sweeping and mopping, dusting, washing windows, cleaning the bathroom, and washing tables. Possibly organize supplies and help with organizational tasks.

*Our volunteer application is lengthy, but it is to ensure we have the best possible fit for the volunteer and The HUB. We also require background checks for the safety of our students.
