Views of Nature
Nancy A Jones
When I am painting or drawing, I need tranquility. This allows me to focus on the scene/nature. My response, rather than literal, is to capture competing forces in marks, colors and forms. While I respond in summer and winter to contrasting tones: in autumn and spring, it is to lines and colors. For me, a work is a heightened moment and a personal process of how my mind filters perceptual reality
Midwestern
Justin Hamm
Justin’s photography and poetry show, Midwestern, depicts the rural and rustic beauty and decay of Missouri and Illinois through camera and pen. Hamm’s work, visual and verbal, is equal parts inspection of the American mythos and testament against the worn-out adage that the Midwest is merely “flyover country.”
Cat’s Meow
Serena Stevens
Cat’s Meow is an exhibition of paintings and collages spanning the last several years. It explores themes of desire through depictions of whimsical relationships and children in dreamlike settings.
My work is based on a combination of found and personal imagery.
