Docent Volunteer Program

Do you enjoy art and talking to people about exhibits? We are looking for 4 volunteers for our new Docent Program! A docent is someone who acts as a guide in a museum or gallery setting. You will learn about each exhibit and share your knowledge with our guests.  

Responsibilities:

• Talk to visitors about exhibits.
• Monitor guests to ensure safety of the artwork.
• Conduct sales for exhibits and gallery store items.
• Close when shift is over.

Hours:

• One – two Thursdays per month from 5:00 – 7:00 pm.
• Month will be split between multiple docents.

Must be at least 18 years old to volunteer for this position.
