Artist Statement
My passion for painting on canvas began three years ago at a Pinot’s Palette event in St. Petersburg, Florida, planned by my sister. I never dreamed that experience would take me on a much-needed journey of peace after losing my husband of 45 years. I mostly work in acrylics and use brushes, but have done some watercolors and palette knife paintings as well. I have created some Impressionist and Folk Art pieces for fun. However, most of my work is Realism, and I feel these paintings evoke a true sense of peace.
All proceeds will be donated to The Hub Arts and Cultural Center.
