The Works of Beverly Jackson

The Hub is excited to exhibit the works and collection of longtime Rushville resident Beverly Jackson.  Bev owned and ran the Jackson Shoe Store with her husband Victor.  To enhance her art and craft skills, Bev took classes locally from Sara Lashmett plus other courses, lessons, and self-study.   Along with painting and sketching, her talents included a variety of fiber arts such as quilting, knitting, sewing, and cross-stitch.

Later in life Bev took up working in miniatures for doll houses. She passed in 2015.  Before his death,  Vic established a Beverly Jackson Scholarship through the Schuyler County  Community Foundation at Rushville State Bank.  The Foundation would like to give the community the opportunity to purchase her pieces. The work can be purchased by making an offer at The Hub. Proceeds from sales will benefit The Hub and the Beverly Jackson Scholarship with the Schuyler County Community Foundation.
