Bicentennial Reflections | Schuyler County’s Story
Presented by The Hub – Arts and Cultural Center in partnership with the Schuyler Jail Museum
Step Into 200 Years of Schuyler County History
From the Indigenous people who first called this land home to the diverse community we know today, Bicentennial Reflections tells the story of Schuyler County’s resilience, growth, and traditions.
Explore our county’s ties to Abraham Lincoln, discover how the railroad shaped our towns, and relive celebrations like Smiles Day and the Schuyler County Fair. Rare photographs, artifacts, and stories bring our shared history to life.
Take the Exhibit on the Road
Your journey doesn’t end at the gallery doors! Pick up a Schuyler County Passport at The Hub or the Schuyler Jail Museum and set out to explore historic landmarks across the county. Collect stamps, learn more at each site, and see history come alive where it happened.
