Rushville’s Story

A new exhibit celebrating two centuries of Rushville history

To mark Rushville’s bicentennial, The Hub – Arts & Cultural Center presents “Rushville’s Story: 200 Years,” an exhibit tracing the city’s history from its founding through the present day. Explore the people, places, and events that have shaped our community over 200 years — from early settlement and industry to landmark moments, community life, local schools, and Rushville’s role during wartime, along with an honest look at some of the harder chapters of the city’s past.

The exhibit also connects Rushville’s 2026 bicentennial to the nation’s upcoming 250th anniversary, echoing the city’s 150th anniversary celebration back in 1976.
