We are pleased to welcome John Haney to The Hub Gallery this March and April to share his “TinyWurlds.”
Exhibit Statement:
“I did not invent the idea of “tinywurlds.” The first tinywurld I ever encountered was from a book called The Little Prince. In the book, a little boy lives on a very small world called B 612. There was a cartoon on TV when I was a kid that brought the Little Prince to life. I liked the idea of being able to walk to the other side of your home-world in just a few steps! Since then, I have been making my own tinywurld drawings, paintings, and sculptural collages (cardboard art). The most important thing about making a tinywurld is to remember that it is your world. You can make it however you want!” -John Haney
